At IHTCP, we hold our members to the highest standards of integrity, compassion, and professionalism. Our Code of Ethics is a commitment to ethical practice, client wellbeing, and respectful conduct within the wellbeing community.
Every accredited Member and Course Provider agrees to uphold these values from the moment they join us — ensuring that the wellness work they offer is delivered with care, honesty, and responsibility. This code forms the foundation of trust between our members, their clients & students and the wider world.

To be committed to providing the highest quality service by those clients or students that seek their professional advice.

Be professional & empathic whilst upholding the professional status of yourself and your Beauty Services, Therapies or Courses that you provide.

Do not discriminate any client or student in any way.

Have adequate liability insurance cover against any potential legal proceedings resulting from any situation with a client or student - full details for insurance are given upon request when joining IHTCP.

Commit to continuous learning whilst practicing as a Beautician, Therapist or Course provider to ensure your clients or students are offered the very best and up to date therapies within the Member or Course Provider chosen field of therapy.

Maintain discretion & confidentiality to/of all clients and students at all times.

Do not diagnose or prescribe anything outside of your legal training for which you are qualified in.

Maintain confidential records of clients as directed by your course provider.

Advise IHTCP as soon as you stop practicing or teaching within your field of expertise within the membership.

As a Member, agree to pay a membership fee as set out on the IHTCP website to maintain the membership, otherwise any member without a valid membership will be taken off the IHTCP Directory and their certificate, logo and membership becomes void.

IHTCP has a refund policy that for Single Memberships you may cancel without charge within 5 days of joining your membership and receive a full refund less a $49 admin fee. Any requests for cancellation after this will not be authorised.
 This does not apply if your membership certificate has already been issued, if this is the case, no refunds are given.

If you join us as a Course Provider, no refunds are given once you place the order however we will work with you in every way possible to ensure the successful outcome of your Course Provider status with us here at IHTCP.
